About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled mobile developer to join our UK-based development team at DCS Technology. Our platform is built using the Microsoft stack, including .NET Core, MVC, EF Core, SQL Azure, Azure DevOps, and Xamarin. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and deploying features for our Xamarin Forms/MAUI app, with a keen eye for detail in front-end UI/UX development and the ability to deliver maintainable and performant code for both iOS and Android platforms in an Agile environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and planning stages of our projects, delivering cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
  • Offer technical expertise on client calls and meetings, providing insight to business account managers during the tender process.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the entire platform architecture and proprietary .NET Core.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and deploy features for our Xamarin Forms/MAUI app.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in mobile development, ensuring our platform remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Strong C# skills and experience with .NET Core.
  • Excellent XAML skills and experience with Xamarin Forms/MAUI.
  • Dependency Injection and Entity Framework Core (SQLite) experience.
  • Objective-C, SwiftUI, and Java skills.
  • Messaging (APNS, Firebase) and iOS/Android deployment experience.
  • GitHub/BitBucket experience and knowledge of AutoMapper.
  • Experience implementing 3rd party APIs.
Desirable Skills
  • JIRA (or other project management software) experience.
  • PRINCE2/PRINCE2 Agile certification.
  • Azure DevOps experience.
  • ASP.NET Core experience.
  • Azure and Google Cloud Services experience.
