Academic Support Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated education assistant to join our team at Feversham Primary Academy in Bradford.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: £24,027 - £24,404 (Actual salary) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional benefits

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until August 2025

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide academic support to students in Key Stage 1.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support students in their learning, promoting their independence and self-esteem
  2. Promote extra-curricular activities and develop independent learning skills
  3. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to achieve educational goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Motivation and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Understanding of pupil's learning needs, including specific SEND needs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Additional Information:
