About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Early Years Educator to join our team at a vibrant and fun primary school based in Tonbridge, Kent.

The children are hardworking, caring, inquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment.

Responsibilities
  • Promote teamwork and cultivate a conducive learning environment for children taking their first steps in Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Teach the EYFS curriculum to groups of children while focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths and improving weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability by introducing fractions, statistics and geometry.
  • Help children develop writing skills by creating plots, characters and settings for stories.
  • Track progress and report back to parents as required.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced educators as well as ECTs welcome).

Salary & Benefits

An estimated salary of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including opportunities for professional development.
