Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Professional Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of regional workforce, training, and education strategies. This includes implementing a network-wide framework for neonatal education and training, delivering education and training to a wider membership, and supporting the monitoring and reporting of qualified in specialty (QIS) training requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Nurse for Education to deliver regional QIS and Foundation programs.
  • Support the delivery of standalone training events, including Neonatal Education Forums, Neonatal Network Conferences, and clinical skills days.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of regional education and training strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with NMC registration
  • Neonatal qualification in Specialty
  • Educated to master's level or equivalent experience working at a senior level in specialist area
  • Recognised teaching qualification or equivalent experience
  • Leadership qualification
  • RCUK Generic Instructors Course

Salary:

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
