MEP Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MEP Manager to oversee the MEP activities on a major new build project in Bristol.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Main Contractors, ideally on projects exceeding £100m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate MEP design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.

• Ensure MEP systems meet project specifications and standards.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into the build process.

• Oversee MEP contractors, ensuring quality control, health and safety standards, and timely completion of tasks.

• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and report to senior management.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Manager, preferably on large-scale new build projects.

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning processes.

• Proven experience in managing MEP contractors and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
