  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor transactions daily to ensure compliance with AML and Financial Crime regulations.
  • Work closely with operations staff to implement due diligence and ongoing monitoring requirements.
  • Provide guidance to operations staff on AML screening escalations.
  • Support the MLRO with ad hoc tasks and assist in the design and delivery of AML-related management information.
  • Conduct regular reviews of our policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Implement new AML processes and procedures, and provide guidance and support to the business on AML compliance matters.
  • Prepare regulatory reports and returns.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on the impact of any changes.
  • Investigate and report any breaches of regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in AML compliance within financial services, preferably in a CFD and Spread Betting firm.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations, particularly rules and legislation related to AML/Financial Crime.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A degree in a relevant subject is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of the physical crypto asset environment is preferred but not essential.
