Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Luton Bennett is a leading manufacturer looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the UK.

Job Description:
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) work and address reactive breakdowns in high-volume production environments.
  • Maintain production machinery under the direction of the Team Leader/Deputy Leader.
  • Utilize mechanical skills in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, and bearings. Experience with machining or welding is advantageous, although training can be provided by the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Be mechanically competent on the equipment listed above.
  • Have some form of industrial experience, preferably from ex-forces, manufacturing, or field service.
Benefits:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £21.50 per hour, plus overtime paid at premium rates.
  • An annual fuel allowance of £2000 after six months of probation.

The estimated salary for this role is £24,000 - £28,000 per year, depending on experience.
