Process Technology Specialist

About the Role

As a Process Technology Engineer at ADM, you will be responsible for collaborating with equipment and project engineers to develop, evaluate, and integrate new manufacturing and packaging designs. You will identify and lead projects to reduce losses and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) rates, yields, capacity, and schedule attainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new manufacturing and packaging designs to meet strategic business plans and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with company subject matter experts to transfer new products, technologies, and innovative approaches to plant operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and operators to benchmark the facility and develop standardized systems to define and sustain optimal processes and equipment set-ups.
  • Serve as a technical partner for the site, including production and maintenance employees, plant operations, and leadership teams.
  • Develop and maintain a 5-year capital project portfolio to include capital budgeting and execution that balances non-discretionary, productivity, and growth spend.
  • Display a dedication to leading, developing, and supporting safety and promoting a safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to direct, organize, and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and ability to learn new technologies quickly and implement where applicable.
  • Experience with optimization and analytical processes and tools.
  • Working knowledge of CAD applications, P&IDs, and control narratives.
