Job Summary

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for providing strategic financial planning and analysis to support the commercial business. This includes monthly management reporting, planning, and forecasting, as well as business partnering across the organisation. The FP&A Manager will play a key role in simplifying and improving the quality of our reporting capabilities across Janes, including providing insightful information for leadership and the Board.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in Excel, SQL, and Power BI, with previous experience building and simplifying financial models. They will also have a strong understanding of data flows and the ability to manipulate data. Additionally, they will have strong business partnering experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the annual financial planning and budgeting process, collaborating with executive management to establish financial and strategic goals.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports and analyses to senior management, analysing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
  • Manage the forecasting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, ensuring that budgets and forecasts are aligned with strategic objectives and financial goals.
  • Act as a financial business partner to various departments, providing financial guidance and support, and assisting in the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments.
  • Develop and maintain complex & integrated financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making, performing scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Previous experience building and simplifying financial models.
  • Strong understanding of data flows and the ability to manipulate data.
  • Strong business partnering experience.
  • Accounting qualification.
