Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Engineering. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative mechanical components, systems, and prototypes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and prototypes using CAD software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse project requirements and develop solutions
  • Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct prototype testing and analysis to identify design enhancements or improvements
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and design reports
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to the wider team

Requirements:

  • Proficient in 3D CAD software (Solidworks)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems
  • Experience with prototype development and testing
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
