Classroom Assistant (ASD) Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant (ASD) to join our team at a SEND secondary school in Enfield. As a Classroom Assistant (ASD), you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and social development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic and behavioural support to students with ASD
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, and deliver small group or one-to-one support
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
Requirements:
  • 2:1 or higher degree from a top UK university
  • Desirable experience working with children, particularly those with ASD
  • Availability to work 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Career aspirations in education or psychology
