Literacy Support Specialist

We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Literacy Tutors. As a Literacy Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds in achieving their full potential.
About the RoleWe are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to work in a Primary or Secondary school setting, providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help with English and Literacy. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality one-to-one support to students who require additional help with English and Literacy.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive the best possible support.
- Develop and implement effective learning plans to meet the needs of individual students.
- Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A degree in English, Humanities, or Modern Languages from a top UK university.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.Experience of working with vulnerable and disadvantaged children, with a kind and caring personality.A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.
