This is a pivotal position at Camp Beaumont that involves guiding and supporting our team to deliver exceptional day camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all our young camp members.

About the Deputy Camp Manager Position

  • Support the Camp Manager in running a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during summer and school holiday weekdays.
  • Ensure staff members are fully equipped to deliver exceptional and fun experiences for the children.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our camps, leaving a positive impact on young campers' lives and creating cherished, lasting memories.

About You

  • Over 18 years old.
  • Available to work during the school holidays.
  • A UK/EU citizen with the legal right to live and work in the UK.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team.
  • Possess bags of energy and enthusiasm, and be passionate about working with children.
  • Have initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • A high level of safeguarding awareness.
  • Paediatric first aid is desirable, as we offer this as part of our training.
  • A level 3 childcare qualification/PGCE is desirable.
