Quality Assurance Technologist

Location: Pontefract

As a QA Technologist, you will report directly to the site QA Team Manager. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring technical excellence and quality assurance throughout the site, while also supporting the daily operations of the quality function. This includes maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Safety Assurance: Perform tests and audits to ensure products consistently meet and exceed food safety regulations.
  • Quality Issue Resolution: Identify and address potential risks to enhance product quality and promote ongoing improvements.
  • Quality Standards Maintenance: Revise and implement quality assurance protocols to uphold our brand's commitment to product excellence.
  • Quality Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track trends, optimize processes, and enhance product consistency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to integrate quality at every stage of the manufacturing process.

To excel in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of Food Hygiene and HACCP principles, along with experience in conducting internal audits. Previous experience in a technical role within food manufacturing is preferred. Quality Assurance qualifications will be advantageous.
