HGV2 Refuse Driver Job Description

Wild Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV2 Refuse Driver to join our team in the Havant area. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting household waste from residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a Class 2 Refuse truck to collect waste from designated areas.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
  • Comply with health and safety procedures and policies at all times.
Requirements:
  • Current C LGV Licence and valid Drivers CPC and DQC.
  • Ability to undertake heavy lifting as required.
  • Initiative and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with a Class 2 Licence.

This is a temp-perm opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of up to £16ph. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3.30pm. If you are a motivated and experienced HGV2 Refuse Driver looking for a new challenge, please apply now.
