About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Power & Controls Strategic Business Unit of Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations in the Value Stream.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce unit holds and improve process efficiency.
- Provide customer and supplier quality support, reporting, and communication.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce unit holds and improve process efficiency.
- Ensure due process and rigor is followed when conducting Quality Clinic investigations.
- Develop measures of performance and the necessary governance system to ensure delivery of business and department goals.
- Support internal and external audit programs.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pragmatic with the ability to find compliant solutions.
- Problem-solving experience.
- Ability to read and understand policies and technical documentation.
- Multi-disciplined with a basic knowledge of hydro-mechanical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of AS91XX series of standards.
- Experience in working with bespoke computer-based records systems and tools.
- Strength of character with the ability to make decisions in challenging circumstances.
- Discipline, organized, and proactive approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience within the Aerospace industry, particularly Part 145.
- Lean and problem-solving skills.
- Auditing qualification from a recognized body.
- Project Management experience.
