Job Title: Publishing Specialist
Location: London (hybrid)
We are seeking a skilled Publishing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of our learning experience by reviewing, editing, and publishing digital and printed content. Your responsibilities will also include uploading, reformatting, checking accuracy, and categorizing content within our content management system and digital platforms.
Your team focuses on ensuring accuracy and using plain English to explain complex technical topics, promoting more effective and engaging learning content. You will also be responsible for publishing content (both digital and printed) within project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Content Authors, Curriculum Managers, Graphic Designers, Learning Architects, Learning Technologists, and Instructional Designers.
- Publish printed and digital content to project deadlines.
- Complete proofreading and editing tasks on time.
- Suggest improvements to existing content to enhance user experience.
- Copy-edit text from multiple Content Authors & Instructional Designers to align with the QA Style Guide & Tone of Voice guidelines.
Requirements:
- Excellent spoken/written English Language communication skills.
- High-quality written English & strong attention to detail.
- Ability to focus on completing tasks in full & meet deadlines.
- Experience in a content publishing or copy editing role.
- Great understanding of core grammatical principles and English principles.
