About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our UK market development efforts, overseeing operations and driving business growth in this strategic region. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and executing our business strategies, managing local activity, and ensuring overall success.

Our ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a deep understanding of the local market and business landscape within our industry. They should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and professional organisations.

Responsibilities
  • Owning the P&L for the assigned region, including sales, trade and marketing spending strategies, financial feasibility, planning and control.
  • Developing and implementing the company's business strategies and objectives in the assigned region.
  • Identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Driving business development initiatives to expand the company's market share and customer base.
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on market performance, business activities, and financial results to senior management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Country Manager or similar senior sales or revenue leadership role.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the local market and business landscape.
  • Team player with excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in the local language and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
