About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join our team in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flood risk assessments and drainage solutions for a wide range of development projects across the Southwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with Transport Planning and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  2. Conduct thorough flood risk assessments to inform development decisions
  3. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance
  4. Lead and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation
  5. Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
  6. Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards, adhering to industry best practices
Requirements
  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  2. Proven experience in flood risk and drainage, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects
  3. Knowledge of flood risk assessment processes and methodologies
  4. Passion for delivering exceptional results and making a positive impact
