Job Title: Site Manager Building

Are you a seasoned professional with a background in structural and architectural metalwork installation? If you have extensive experience in metalwork installation and proficiency with cranes and MEWPs, we may have an opportunity for you.



As a Site Manager for our metalwork projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the setup of specific construction materials, organizing site tasks, and handling resource allocation. You will work closely with a team on various building projects, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and project requirements.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the setup of specific construction materials
  • Organise site tasks and handle resource allocation
  • Work closely with a team on various building projects
  • Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and project requirements
  • Report daily updates to the Site Operations Manager


Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in structural and architectural metalwork installation
  • Proficiency in working with cranes and MEWPs
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • A61 (Lift Supervisor) qualification or A40 slinger ticket instead of A61
  • IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification
  • PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certification

Working Hours:

We work a standard 39.5-hour week, with on-site hours from 8:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday and 8:00-16:00 Friday. Additional hours are paid at time and a half.



Location:

The ideal candidate will be based fairly local to Taunton due to travel requirements. This is a permanent job opportunity with a salary dependent on experience.
