About this Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for a seasoned Senior Events Officer to join the team at Venn Group, supporting people with terminal illnesses in London.

This is a key position responsible for driving events through the development and delivery of an annual calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Community & Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute the annual hospice fundraising event programme.
  • Research and implement new events to diversify the programme, ensuring its success and growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance our events and ensure their continued engagement.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and tours to supporters and partners, showcasing the charity's mission and impact.
  • Prepare detailed feasibility studies, budgets, and action plans for all events, considering their potential impact and returns.
  • Conduct thorough post-event data analysis and evaluation, providing insights into KPIs, income breakdown, and costs against budget.

Person Specification:

  • A deep understanding and enthusiasm for charity fundraising events, with a proven track record of delivering successful events.
  • Significant experience in event management, with expertise in recruiting, engaging, and retaining supporters.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a fluent writing style and the ability to communicate effectively across various media and audiences.
  • The ability to think critically and proactively, using initiative to resolve problems and create innovative solutions that drive results.

What We Offer:
