About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Officer to join our team at Undisclosed. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our credit and counterparty risk management framework.

  • Develop and enhance methodologies to assess and manage credit and counterparty risk across our diverse portfolio.
  • Provide expert support to risk owners, enabling them to make informed decisions about risk mitigation and management.
  • Work closely with other teams to leverage expertise in risk management and strengthen our investees' risk processes.
  • Conduct ongoing credit risk monitoring, including periodic credit risk rating assessments.
  • Provide regular risk reporting to executive committees, the Board, and shareholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc risk analysis to assess exposure to topical or thematic risk vulnerabilities.
About You

We are looking for a credible background in credit risk management, ideally gained from an investment institution, investment banking, or private equity experience in emerging markets.

  • Good knowledge of credit risk management techniques, including rating methodologies, exposure measurement, and monitoring.
  • Product knowledge, including debt and structural credit enhancement techniques, direct and fund investing.
  • Familiarity with default and recovery processes.
  • Able to work autonomously, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to manage projects to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Ability to work across all levels of the organisation, providing constructive challenge to risk owners.
  • Establish and retain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Passionate about emerging markets and the role of development finance institutions.
