Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Retirement Benefits Administration Manager to join our team at Triumph Consultants Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and administration of pension schemes for NYFRS, including managing and administering pension schemes, assisting the Scheme Manager with running Firefighter Pension Schemes, and providing specialist information at meetings.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context.
  • You will possess demonstrable experience of providing high-quality pension advisory services.
  • You will have good professional knowledge of pensions legislation.
  • You will be able to work with financial data and undertake complex calculations.
  • You will have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • You will have strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer pension schemes for NYFRS.
  • Assist Scheme Manager with running Firefighter Pension Schemes.
  • Attend meetings and provide specialist information.
  • Manage Pensions Administration and Payroll contract.
  • Provide guidance on pension and retirement processes.
  • Liaise with Finance and Payroll on pension matters.
  • Undertake research and project work on key issues.
  • Provide documentation to pension administrators.
  • Provide briefings on pension changes and risk assessment.
  • Liaise to provide updates for publication on NYFRS intranet.
  • Provide guidance to Payroll on administrative processes.
  • Provide information for periodic returns and disclosures.
  • Support payroll dealing with pensionable pay situations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold or be willing to work towards a CIPP (Certificate in Pensions Administration).

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is approximately £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including health insurance and pension scheme membership.
