Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at KpH Deconstruction Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Analyse and quantify materials, labour, and equipment required for each project.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns, proposals, and bid packages.
  • Track and update cost data to ensure accuracy and reflect any changes during the estimation process.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project requirements to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Perform take-offs using estimating software.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience as a construction-based Estimator, including proficiency in take-offs.
  • Strong knowledge of deconstruction/construction methods, processes, and materials.
  • Good analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices.
  • Experience in using various construction online document systems, such as Procore or Aconex.
