As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the premises to a high standard, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our residents and staff. You will work closely with the Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Home, including property matters.

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks within and outside the building, prioritizing efficiency and minimizing disruption to residents and staff.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance routines, identifying and reporting any hazards to the Manager.
  • Liaise with the Manager to plan errands and appointments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Ensure the outside of the building and grounds are maintained to a safe and good standard of repair.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with legislation and advise the Manager of any issues.
  • Perform weekly checks on the Fire Alarm System, water temperatures, and other critical systems.
  • Conduct monthly checks on wheelchairs, interior décor, and other essential tasks.
