About the Position

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Child and Youth Wellbeing Practitioner to work with us in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people affected by substance misuse. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 certification in Tackling Substance Misuse, Health and Social Care, or a relevant qualification, as well as experience working in substance misuse and knowledge of therapeutic approaches.

The salary for this permanent position is between £22,390 and £27,062 per annum, inclusive of excellent benefits such as generous holiday entitlement, life assurance, comprehensive pension package, and employee health benefit scheme. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality care for individuals affected by substance misuse.

Responsibilities
  • Risk/Need Assessments & Care Plans: Conduct assessments and develop tailored care plans that support recovery and wellbeing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside peers and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • One-on-One Sessions: Provide personal support to service users, helping them navigate their recovery journey.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety of vulnerable adults and children by reporting concerns in accordance with policies.
