About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Unqualified Teacher for KS3/KS4. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day teaching and learning activities in our secondary academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students aged 11-16 years.
- Assist with planning and preparation of lessons, including creating resources and materials.
- Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and behavior.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.

Person Specification
- Experience working with young people in a school setting or similar environment.
- Confidence in leading a class of children aged 11-16 years.
- Ability to work well with challenging behavior.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and written.
- Willingness to undergo continual professional training.
- Able to work under pressure effectively and 'think on your feet'.
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a 'can-do attitude' and good sense of humor.
- Ability to commute to Boston and surrounding areas.
