**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our team at Inspired Selections. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, assisting with various optical tasks, and contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with frame selection, lens options, and other optical products.
  • Dispensing to all levels.
  • Conduct pre-screening tests and gather relevant information for the optometrist.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Ensure a clean and organized retail environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with the optometrist and other team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
Requirements:
  • Minimum experience required – 1 year in retail optics.
  • The ability to be able to confidently dispense to all levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of optical terminology and products.

  • Salary: £22,000 – £23,500 per annum, depending on experience.
