Job Summary

Moog is seeking a skilled Assembly and Test Technician to work in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for our commercial Aircraft Group in Tewkesbury. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out Assembly and Test tasks on Moog Products.

This will include cleaning of parts ready for assembly; building and testing Moog products; carrying out diagnostic tests to verify failure; disassembling products to carry out rework; flow matching operations and wire locking/labelling/finishing techniques.

This is a stamp holder position, requiring individuals who can produce work of high quality and progress their own work through to final inspection. The role will require you to work in accordance with approved documentation, so we are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail who is skilled at following instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Assembly and Test tasks on Moog Products
  • Clean and prepare parts for assembly
  • Build and test Moog products
  • Carry out diagnostic tests to verify failure
  • Disassemble products to carry out rework
  • Perform flow matching operations and wire locking/labelling/finishing techniques

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a similar role in a production environment (Aerospace or equivalent)
  • Competent use of a range of relevant hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
  • Diagnostic skills within a previous role
  • Ability to understand basic Servo valve Operations
  • Self-inspection of products to a high degree
  • Accurate recording of data
