The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and internal stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to resolve issues efficiently and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Log and update technical enquiries
  • Evaluate and escalate issues to the second line where necessary
  • Visit branches as required to provide on-site support
  • Maintain and update our knowledge base to ensure articles are relevant and up-to-date
  • Assist with project work and undertake smaller independent projects as required
  • Perform routine administration and housekeeping tasks as required within the department

Requirements

  • Interest in IT and technology
  • Experience or understanding of retail environments, including purchasing, selling, and invoicing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to provide clear and concise written reports to second-line support and external stakeholders
  • Experience with general desktop support, including PC hardware, printers, and other equipment
