About the Position

We are currently recruiting a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in Mansfield. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the academic success and personal growth of our students.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents alike. A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.

Main Duties:
  • Supporting teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Assisting students with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Conducting observations and assessments to inform teaching strategies
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Key Qualifications:
  • A recognized Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of two years' experience working with children in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse contexts
Compensation Package:
  • A highly competitive salary of £23,000, commensurate with experience
