Financial Bookkeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our accounts team in Weybridge. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice or accounts department within a UK-based organisation.
About the Role:
- Performing complex bookkeeping tasks for a range of clients across various industries.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Preparing management accounts.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of working with limited companies.
- Delegate basic bookkeeping to external colleagues, reviewing this work on completion.
- Managing day-to-day client relationships, handling ad-hoc queries, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an accountancy practice or accounts department within a UK-based organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of Xero is essential; additional experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients.
- Strong initiative, along with the ability to delegate tasks and support the development of junior staff members.
- Impeccable attention to detail and effective time management skills.
Benefits:
- Salary dependent on experience (likely £30,000-£40,000) plus benefits package.
- This is likely to be an office-based opportunity, but home working may be agreeable for the right candidate after passing probation.
Estimated Salary: £32,500 per annum
