Clinical Team Leader for Special Needs Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Kestrel House School, part of the Outcomes First Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading provider of special needs education and contribute to the development of our clinical services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading our in-house Clinical Team and holding a therapy caseload. They will work closely with our Senior Leadership team and Locality Clinical Lead to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need due to autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH needs.
As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the line management of the onsite clinical team, providing supervision and supporting a therapy team. You will also contribute to staff training and consultation, and work collaboratively with multi-professional teams to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the in-house Clinical Team and hold a therapy caseload
- Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need
- Coordinate the line management of the onsite clinical team
- Provide supervision and support to the therapy team
- Contribute to staff training and consultation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, or doctorate in Psychology
- Registration with the HCPC and own professional body
- Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs
- Clear and concise report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience. Other benefits include:
