Job Overview
Marine Resources is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the marine industry. We are currently seeking a skilled marine engineer to work on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have experience in new build marine engineering, both mechanical and electrical.
Key Responsibilities- Install and commission mechanical equipment, including main machinery.
- Install and terminate wiring looms.
- Set up and commission CANbus control systems and NMEA2000 networks.
- Install, set up, and commission hydraulic systems.
- Problem solve and diagnose faults.
- Lead a project, planning the work on the vessel, checking information and stock, planning and meeting timescales.
Requirements
We require individuals with several years of experience in new build marine engineering, both mechanical and electrical. Proof of marine engineering qualifications is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic injection marine diesel engines and drive installs, CANbus distribution systems, and installing marine navigation equipment.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
