Piping Technical Authority

The role of the Piping Technical Authority is to provide technical leadership and expertise in the field of piping engineering. This includes the development and implementation of piping design standards, procedures, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain piping design standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to piping engineers and designers.
  • Review and approve piping designs and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in piping engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of piping codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
