We are seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead our UK-based projects in Commercial Offices, Retail, Education, and Healthcare sectors. As a key member of our Property Services team, you will be responsible for project delivery, work winning, team management, and providing technical support across various frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-profile projects, ensuring client satisfaction and technical excellence
  2. Manage team development, recruitment, and project delivery, driving business growth and success
  3. Conduct post-occupancy engineering activities, feasibility studies, and technical reporting, informing business decisions and enhancing client relationships
  4. Undertake design, specification, site monitoring, and performance specification work, leveraging expertise in Building Services and property knowledge
  5. Collaborate with clients, managing risks related to technical and commercial aspects, and developing solutions that meet their needs

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Chartered (or working towards) in Mechanical Engineering, demonstrating strong technical expertise and industry recognition
  • Experience in refurbishment, fit-out, and existing building projects, showcasing ability to deliver complex projects successfully
  • Expertise in Building Services and property knowledge, allowing you to provide informed advice and guidance to clients
  • Strong technical report writing and client-facing skills, enabling effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage projects and teams effectively, driving business outcomes and delivering results
