Job Title: Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Full Academic Year, Term-time Only

Location: Havering

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our vibrant and supportive school. As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside a passionate team to create an inclusive and inspirational environment for all pupils to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with SEN and behavioural requirements
  • Use your initiative to provide support to various children, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work collaboratively with the inclusion team to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting pupils with SEN

Requirements:

  • Passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting
  • Creative, confident, and caring approach to supporting pupils with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
