Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive security roadmap, standardizing security practices, and leading a team of product security experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of our clients' processes and product ranges to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Lead a team of product security experts, including security advisors, architects, testers, and vulnerability managers, to support teams in adhering to secure development lifecycle (SDL) standards.
- Conduct security testing and manage vulnerabilities throughout pre- and post-production phases.
- Develop direct reports in collaboration with other leaders, setting clear targets and goals, assigning challenging tasks, and engaging in regular development and career planning discussions.
- Ensure a strong commitment to operational security, consistently following best practices and standards in product and industrial security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Honours degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 8 years' experience in product development, engineering, or a similar field.
- Proven background in cybersecurity threats and defense, including technology procedures.
- Track record of data protection requirements.
- Experience in project management.
- Demonstrated commitment to operational security, adhering to best practices and standards in product and industrial security.
- Knowledge of open-source software.
- Hold generic security certifications like CISSP and CISM.
