Job Title: Dermatology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Specialist to join our team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will provide high-quality care for patients with inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in medical dermatology and surgical skills, with a strong track record of delivering excellent patient outcomes. You will be responsible for providing outpatient clinic and procedure lists, as well as supporting junior medical staff and nurses in their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive dermatology services, including inpatient care and referrals, outpatient referrals and treatment, and telephone or electronic advice and guidance to local GPs.
  • Work flexibly with colleagues to achieve the hospital's planned activity for dermatology out-patient services.
  • Support the development of integrated services for dermatology patients in the region.
  • Participate in clinical audit, continuing professional development, and research as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • A minimum of 12 years' medical work experience since obtaining a primary medical qualification.
  • Experience in making clinical decisions and managing risk.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
