The One Group is looking for a skilled 5 Axis CNC Setter to join our team in Wellingborough. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating high-precision CNC milling machines.

About the Role:

  • Set up and operate up to 5-axis CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.
  • Develop and implement efficient machining processes to meet production targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and program CNC machines for optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits to maintain high standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and perform data analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent background in mechanical engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CNC machining principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
