Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Profiles Personnel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations: Ensure the smooth running of the warehouse, including receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Team Management: Manage and guide a small team of warehouse operatives, hold daily staff briefings, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Client Liaison: Liaise daily with clients regarding stock queries, generate delivery notes when orders are completed for dispatch, and ensure timely and accurate communication.
- Equipment Management: Responsible for the operation and safe use of forklift equipment, ensuring safe working practices and adhering to company policies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar Warehouse or Stores Manager role is essential.
- Skills: Professional verbal and written communication skills, good IT skills, and the ability to communicate regularly with customers.
- Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to work on your feet most of the day, with a full UK driving license and own vehicle.
