Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Accountant to join our team as a Financial Controller. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for reviewing, reporting, and driving the company's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing the end-to-end production of monthly management P&L balance sheets and cash flow statements
  2. Ownership of journals, preparing and reviewing month-end balance sheet reconciliations
  3. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager to ensure all group reporting deadlines are met
  4. Supporting in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with the company's external auditors
  5. Proactively identifying and implementing financial and operational process improvements

Requirements:

  1. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  2. Significant experience with full-cycle accounting
  3. Excellent Excel skills
  4. Strong work ethic, productive, organized, and effective
  5. Experience working for medium to large companies, preferably in a scale-up environment
  6. Customer-centric, clear communicator, and team player
  7. Ability to contribute to implementing new systems and developing the ERP system (NetSuite)
