Mechanical Equipment Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry. The company is based in Liverpool and is growing, with a need for skilled engineers to support their operations.
The role of Maintenance Engineer will involve problem-solving equipment issues, supporting and recovering reactive breakdowns, and identifying and implementing improvements. This is a key position within the maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of plant equipment and machinery.
Salary: £45,000 + per annum, making this a competitive offer in the industry. In addition to your salary, you can expect to receive 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays, an extra day off on your birthday, and access to an employee counselling service.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a detailed understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You should also be able to identify and resolve maintenance issues quickly, with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A relevant engineering qualification or experience is essential, as well as a clear understanding of safety regulations and effective time management skills.
