Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our client, a leading electronics design and development company within the Aerospace and Defence sector. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and testing high-speed imaging sensors and will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-speed imaging sensors, including CCDs, CMOS Image Detectors, and ROICs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system architecture and interface diagrams.
• Prepare and present design documentation for gate reviews, including compliance verification matrices and lifecycle documentation.
• Lead the verification and testing of electronics, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
• Mentor and train engineers within the team to drive capability and innovation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in PCB design, including component selection, schematic capture, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of high-speed circuitry and electronics interfaces.
• Experience with CAD tools, preferably CADENCE or ALTIUM.
• Ability to create innovative electronic designs that add value to new and existing test systems.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams.
