Sales Manager Role Overview

SolarEdge is a global leader in high-performance smart energy technology, with a diverse product offering that includes intelligent solar inverters, battery storage, backup systems, EV charging, and complete home energy management ecosystems.

We are seeking a Sales Manager in the UK to join our team and drive revenue growth in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in solar sales, with a proven ability to identify, negotiate, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess different partner businesses and develop successful sales strategies
  • Provide product training and introduce new products to customers
  • Manage day-to-day business and drive revenue growth
  • Identify and close sales opportunities in the UK, in accordance with the Company's overall strategic plans and financial objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts
  • Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Solar sales, with UK specific experience preferred
  • Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and verifiable record of successfully growing market share
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line
  • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships
