Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Caridon Group. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning, emotional, and social needs of children and young people in our residential care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the educational, social, emotional, and behavioral development of children and young people under the direction and guidance of management and support.
  • Implement Personal Education Programs and Individual Care Plans, monitoring progress and providing support as needed.
  • Provide primary care for each child or young person, promoting healthy attachments and relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive environment, ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, team members, and management to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or be willing to work towards it.
  • Experience working with children in care or school settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Full driving license and IT skills, with proficiency in electronic systems.
