We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Writer to join our team at Green Park Content. As a Sr. Finance Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that meets the needs of our clients and showcases our expertise in finance and lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation: Write and edit 2-4 articles daily, based on performance reporting and market needs.
- Client Collaboration: Attend immersion/briefing meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure a deep understanding of their needs and goals.
- Content Calendar Management: Help define and maintain a content calendar for upcoming projects, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
- Content Management System (CMS) Maintenance: Assist in maintaining our CMS platform, which serves as an asset bank and newsroom, to ensure seamless content publication and management.
- Editorial Review: Review recently published content to ensure adherence to editorial and SEO standards.
- Homepage Updates: Update the homepage on a weekly basis to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Site Updates: Update all areas of the site monthly to maintain seasonal freshness and relevance.
- Project Planning: Help plan and maintain article production, coordinating with the studio to ensure high-quality and relevant outputs.
- Production Deadline Management: Assist in guaranteeing production deadlines and targets for GPC projects.
- Transcreation Support: Assist with the transcreation of content as needed.
- Specialist Liaison: Liaise with specialists to gather information and opinions.
- Research and Sourcing: Thoroughly research topics and properly source credible references.
- SEO-Optimized Content: Write SEO-optimized articles and engaging videos based on the content plan, working closely with clients on the review process.
- Optimization and Creation: Optimize and create articles using SEO best practices as required.
- Newsletter Creation: Create newsletters that align with key editorial narrative and audience needs.
- Process Management: Help organize and manage internal processes between teams and freelancers.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with the GPC team on project design, calendar planning, SEO, and technical guidelines, as well as content production.
- Brand Guardianship: Act as a brand guardian, ensuring the highest and most resonant quality bar for all content at all times.
- Studio Collaboration: Collaborate with the studio team to ensure photoshoots and videoshoots are conducted according to client needs.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
- Education: Journalism/Media/Communications degree.
- Experience: 3-6 years of writing and editing experience, preferably in English.
- Background: Background in digital media and a wide vision of finance and lifestyle, coupled with knowledge of personal finance, health and wellness, and insurance.
- Team Leadership: Experience working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team of content editors/producers.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Google Analytics/Adwords tools is an advantage.
- Marketing Expertise: Inbound marketing expertise (content marketing and SEO).
- SEO Knowledge: SEO knowledge is essential.
- Attitude and Skills: A creative mind with a positive, can-do attitude, excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
