Personal Tax Assistant Manager

Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment is currently working with a highly reputable and expanding firm of chartered accountants in Bromsgrove who are looking to add a Personal Tax Assistant Manager to their team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Personal Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Personal Tax clients, ensuring all aspects of compliance and reporting work are completed, and providing tax advice to clients as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a portfolio of clients and take responsibility to ensure compliance
  2. Deal with complex tax matters with an international aspect
  3. Identify opportunities for any additional services that clients may need and liaise with subject specialists
  4. Manage and navigate HMRC enquiries on behalf of the client
  5. Provide guidance and assistance to junior members of the team
  6. Take responsibility of the billing of clients within your portfolio
  7. Participate in internal tax technical training sessions
  8. Liaise with internal teams (Accounts, Business Management & payroll) to ensure client affairs are co-ordinated and delivered on time
Requirements:
  • CTA Part or Fully Qualified (ATT, ACCA or ACA Qualified also considered)
  • Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment
