Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment is currently working with a highly reputable and expanding firm of chartered accountants in Bromsgrove who are looking to add a Personal Tax Assistant Manager to their team.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Personal Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Personal Tax clients, ensuring all aspects of compliance and reporting work are completed, and providing tax advice to clients as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of clients and take responsibility to ensure compliance
- Deal with complex tax matters with an international aspect
- Identify opportunities for any additional services that clients may need and liaise with subject specialists
- Manage and navigate HMRC enquiries on behalf of the client
- Provide guidance and assistance to junior members of the team
- Take responsibility of the billing of clients within your portfolio
- Participate in internal tax technical training sessions
- Liaise with internal teams (Accounts, Business Management & payroll) to ensure client affairs are co-ordinated and delivered on time
- CTA Part or Fully Qualified (ATT, ACCA or ACA Qualified also considered)
- Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment
