Oculus Legal Group is seeking a skilled Solicitor to join their Private Client practice team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Private Client law, including experience in Executries, Wills, Power of Attorney, and Trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a variety of issues through meetings and consultations.
  • Providing counsel on matters such as Wills, Tax Planning, Executries, Trusts, and Guardianships.
  • Playing a proactive role in enhancing and expanding the existing private client services, collaborating closely with other practice areas to elevate the profile of the private client team through various business development initiatives.
  • Managing instructions and drafting letters/correspondence. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and overseeing case management.

Requirements:

  • At Solicitor level, our client is looking ideally for 1+ years PQE however if you have gained experience in private client during your traineeship and are a NQ, this would be a potential fantastic opportunity for you.
  • At Associate level, our client is looking for 3+ years PQE gained. You would also have gained experience or are keen to develop your experience in supporting and managing junior team members.
  • Demonstrable background in Private Client including experience in Executries, Wills, Power of Attorney is essential for both appointments.
