CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Anderselite in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with mechanical equipment, be knowledgeable about fabrication and mechanics, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. They should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to interpret engineering drawings.

The role involves operating a CNC plasma cutting machine to create metal components from detailed drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up the machine, monitoring the cutting process, and ensuring accuracy of cuts. They will also need to troubleshoot any machine issues and problems during the cutting process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading materials onto the plasma cutting machine
• Setting up the machine to ensure accurate cuts
• Adjusting settings and monitoring the machine to ensure quality control
• Monitoring the cutting process, making adjustments as necessary
• Ensuring accuracy of cuts and any other product specifications
• Maintaining safe operation of the machine and workplace
• Troubleshooting and identifying problems with the plasma cutting machine
• Inspecting finished work pieces for defects and conformance to specifications
• Documenting machine activities for maintenance and inspection records

Benefits:

• A competitive hourly rate of £14.83 (increasing to £18.09 after 40 hours) with potential for weekend overtime at £21.36 (Saturdays) and £25.21 (Sundays)

Working Hours:
